Vent: my phone died during the encore at the Troubadour, lost the whole thing

I was taping the whole set from the back bar at the Troubadour on Saturday, got maybe 14 songs in great quality, and then the battery just quit right as they came back for the encore. I knew the battery was at 18% and I still kept filming, so I'm mad at myself. Is it better to sacrifice the last song to save the recording, or to risk losing everything trying to catch that one moment? I've seen some folks here run portable chargers mid-show, does that actually work without getting kicked out or breaking the audio?
