A finisher in Tulsa showed me his edger grip and now I'm torn on swapping
Was pouring a 30x40 shop slab in Tulsa last month and the guy running the edger next to me held it way different than I do, hands almost on top of the housing instead of wrapped around the side. He swore it saved his wrists after 20 years and his edges looked just as clean as mine. I gave it a shot on the last 10 feet and honestly it felt awkward but my shoulder didn't ache that night. So now I'm stuck, do I retrain 15 years of muscle memory for a maybe, or is this one of those things that only works for certain body types? Any of you change your grip late in the game and actually stick with it?
