I finally saw what a bad broom finish looks like up close
Was at a parking lot job in Plano yesterday and noticed this crew had their broom strokes going every which way. Left these deep gouges too because they waited too long to start. Has anyone else seen botched broom jobs that make you cringe?

90% of workmanship out there is just "good enough to get paid.

Oh man, that's the kind of thing that makes you wonder if they even looked at the slab before they walked away. So @elliotl24, do you think most crews just don't care about the final look, or is it more about not knowing the right timing and technique?
