Just found out my crew has been using the wrong curing compound all year

Checked the spec sheet from a job we did 6 months ago down in Austin and realized our supplier swapped us to a cheaper resin that doesn't meet ASTM C309 standards. Has anyone else's supplier pulled something like this without telling you?

Talked to a buddy of mine who runs a crew over in San Antonio and he said their material yard did the exact same thing last summer. Swapped out a spec'd bonding agent for something they called a "close enough" alternative without a single heads-up. It ended up causing a bunch of delamination issues on a parking garage they poured and they had to grind out like 30 square yards of it and redo the whole section. He said the worst part was the supplier just shrugged and blamed the shortage, but never offered to cover any of the labor for the fix.

Did the supplier ever admit they were wrong or just keep blaming the shortage?
