Saw a huge difference in slab curing after 3 days with wet burlap vs poly sheeting

I did two identical pads last week, one under wet burlap and one under poly, and the burlap slab looked way smoother and darker after just three days. Has anyone else noticed that big of a gap between standard curing methods?

Idk wet burlap always seems to win for me too.

3 days in, the wet burlap slab was noticeably darker here too. Yeah @henry101 wet burlap's been better in my experience for sure.
