Spent $150 on a fancy power trowel and it paid for itself in 3 days
Tbh I was on the fence about dropping that cash on a new power trowel for months. I finally caved after a big driveway job in Austin last week and man, it cut my finishing time in half. The old one was beat up and leaving swirls everywhere. Anyone else find that spending money on a decent tool made a huge difference on a tough pour?

Used to think spending big on tools was just showing off... honestly thought my old workhorse was fine until I borrowed a buddy's nice power trowel for a day. Totally changed my mind after that. That thing was smooth as butter and I finished a slab in half the time without fighting it the whole way. Bought my own the next week and haven't looked back. Sometimes you just gotta shell out to save yourself the headache later.
