Two-part sealer burned me on a driveway in Denver
Seen guys swear by the two-part acrylics for stamped work. I always thought it was overkill, just extra cost. Used a single-part poly on a 900 square foot driveway last month in Denver. Cracked and peeled inside a week. The rep said I needed the two-part for the freeze thaw cycle there. Has anyone else had single-part fail that fast on stamped surfaces?

Ugh, that sucks. I read somewhere that the single-part stuff just doesn't flex enough for the big temp swings out there, so it pulls off the stamp lines. Sounds like the rep wasn't just blowing smoke.

I called my buddy who installs that stuff in Flagstaff and he swore by the two-part caulk for the same reason. He said the cheap single tubes dry out and crack within a year when the sun beats down on them at high elevation. The extra cost is worth it if you want the stamp lines to stay put for more than a season or two.
