Compared the new e-discovery platform to the old one in a mock case last week...
We ran a mock document review with 10,000 files. The old system took our team of three almost 6 hours to tag and organize everything. The new one did it in 45 minutes with better accuracy. My boss saw the numbers and immediately started the budget request. Has anyone else seen that kind of jump switching platforms?

Wait wait wait, the old system froze three times? During a tag test right before a deadline? That's honestly wild. I can't believe you guys still had to deal with that kind of nonsense. Our old platform would just randomly crash when we hit like 5,000 files so I know the pain. But three freezes in one afternoon is just brutal, your IT guy must have been sweating bullets. Sounds like the upgrade was way overdue for you all too.

Our IT guy Dave actually insisted we do the tag test on a Tuesday afternoon right before a deadline. I swear the old system froze three times and we had to restart. The new one just hummed along while Dave was bragging about the server specs nobody asked about. Ended up finishing early enough to grab coffee, which never happens.
