Discovery objections changed after one judge's comment in Phoenix

I used to fire off boilerplate objections on every document request, but last month a judge in Phoenix called my responses 'obstruction theater' during a hearing. That comment pushed me to actually review each request and meet and confer before filing, which saved us about $8k in motion practice. Has anyone else had a judge's throwaway line reshape their whole litigation approach?

Guilty, I was that lawyer filing everything until a judge called me out too.
