We were 3 days from trial in a contract case in Columbus and drowning in 12,000 emails, so I let one paralegal build the search terms herself instead of farming it out to a vendor. She found the smoking gun in 2 hours, and now I want to know if anyone else has tried cutting the vendor out of first pass review.
