Honestly used to just send demand letters myself without thinking
Tbh I used to fire off demand letters on my own for every small breach, but after one came back with a countersuit that cost my client $12k in fees I stopped. Now I run everything past our senior partner first after that nightmare in 2022. Has anyone else had a simple letter blow up into something way bigger than it should have?

Oh man I read about this happening to a solo practitioner in California last month, pretty brutal outcome.

Three years ago I had almost the exact same setup, @the_vera, and I went with a simple password manager and two factor authentication on everything. It saved me when someone tried to get into my client files.
