I was sure we should settle the supplier breach case, but our new paralegal changed my mind.
She pulled a clause from a 2019 contract showing we had a stronger indemnity claim than we thought. We pushed for arbitration instead and recovered about 80% of the claimed damages. Anyone had a junior team member spot something major you missed?

Funny how the new eyes catch the old details. Reminds me of a time our intern flagged a weird shipping address on a big order. Turned out the client had moved offices two years prior and our billing was going to the wrong building. The intern just noticed the city didn't match the state on the form. Saved a ton of returned mail and a very angry customer.

That intern cost more in training time, @the_hugo.

That "new eyes catch the old details" thing is so true! My junior analyst, kind of like @james279's situation, once noticed a tiny data entry error in a report everyone had signed off on. It totally changed our forecast for the quarter. Fresh perspective is just the best sometimes.
