Rant: My deposition prep got wrecked by a broken document scanner at the worst possible time
I had a big deposition last Thursday in St. Louis and my scanner died 2 hours before I needed to get exhibit copies ready. Had to run to a FedEx Office at 7am and pay $47 just to scan 200 pages. Has anyone else had a critical piece of gear fail right before a hearing like that?

Oh man, that stinks! Maybe stash a backup scanner in your car trunk for emergencies.
