Settled for $85k or pushed for trial? Still wondering if I made the right call

Opposing counsel offered $85k to settle my client's breach case last month, but I felt we could've gotten $120k+ at trial... I took the settlement to avoid another 18 months of discovery, and now the other side's stock dropped 30% after a bad earnings report. Anyone else ever settle early and regret leaving money on the table?
