Man, that's infuriating. Three months of your life gone because some company wants to throw around lawyer talk. I had a similar thing with a supplier trying to tell me I couldn't work with certain clients after I left their crew, but they had no real legal ground to stand on either. It's like they just hope you'll fold and not push back. Did you end up getting them to back down or just burn the time proving your point?

yeah they finally backed down after I showed them a screenshot of a similar case that got thrown out in court. crazy how much time we waste on stuff that's basically just bluffing.
