Can we talk about that pricey color-coded brush set from the beauty supply show?

Dropped nearly $80 on it, but the bristles started falling out after two washes. What's your go-to brush brand that actually lasts?

Tell me about it. I bought one of those sets last year, same story. A whole brush just gave up and shed all over my face like a sad hamster. It's a special kind of disappointment when the expensive stuff falls apart faster than the five dollar ones. I've gone back to my old reliable Sonia Kashuk brushes from years ago that still work fine.

Wait, after only two washes? That's insane for an $80 set. I've had cheap drugstore brushes hold up better than that. My whole collection is Real Techniques now, their eye brushes especially last for years.

Oh man, that's so frustrating for that kind of money. I mean, you expect them to at least make it through the month. I've been burned by fancy brush sets before too.
