Client told me my highlights looked 'chunky' last week
She flat out said it looked like I painted stripes on her head. Changed my foil spacing from half inch to quarter inch sections. Anyone else get feedback that forced you to adjust your technique?

Did you change your sectioning pattern too, or just the spacing? Chunky highlights usually scream bad placement more than wide foils in my book. Curious if swapping to a brick lay helped you avoid those stripey lines.

Man, @grayb64 is totally right about that. I used to swear it was all about the foil width, but after getting roasted for stripes (same exact client complaint, actually) I finally tried brick laying and it made a huge difference.
