Last week I straightened a client's hair and it took 4 hours

That used to be a 45 minute job for me 10 years ago. I blame the humidity, maybe my technique got sloppy. Did two blowouts after that and my wrist was killing me the next day. Anyone else feel like their stamina dropped off after the pandemic?

4 hours for a straightening job? I think your wrists aren't the only things that got weaker, your stamina definitely took a vacation.

Four hours is wild for a straightening job, but I got to ask - how many times did you have to stop and check your work? Like, were you redoing sections or just taking it slow? That sounds like you were second guessing yourself halfway through. I've seen people spend half that time on a full head and get better results. Maybe your iron temp was too low or you kept going over the same spots. What products were you using on it?
