That client at the bridal expo last weekend broke my spirit

I was doing demos at the Denver Bridal Expo last Saturday and this woman sits down for a quick updo consult. She points at a photo of a messy bun and says "make it exactly like this." I spent 20 minutes curling and pinning, showed her the mirror, and she goes "no, that's not right, you didn't even try." Her mom was nodding along too. I wanted to say the photo was filtered and her hair was three inches shorter, but I just smiled. Anyone else get clients who think Pinterest photos are realistic for their hair type?

Oh did she actually say "you didn't even try" right in front of you? That's just wild lol. I had a similar thing happen where a bride brought in a picture of Megan Fox from a magazine and her hair was maybe half that length and way thinner. People see these heavily styled photoshoot pics and think it's just a quick 10 minute thing. The filtered photo thing is so real too, like they don't realize lighting and extensions are doing half the work. You can't really argue with someone who already decided they hate it, but it still stings.
