TIL that purple shampoo wasn't the scam I thought it was after a client came back with the nicest silver I've seen in 8 years
What finally convinced me was mixing it with a clear glaze and letting it sit for 12 minutes on her level 9 hair.

14 minutes on damp hair gives even better silver without the brass.

Huh, damp hair really works better? I've been doing it dry for years and always fighting the brass. I tried it last week with a 12 minute soak in the shower cause I was running late, and honestly my silver came out way more even than usual. Just make sure you squeeze out the excess water first or it'll drip everywhere and stain your shower floor. Also don't let it sit more than 15-18 minutes or it can get a little green tint.

Wait is that a thing you can actually do with damp hair? I always thought you had to start dry or it just slides right off.
