Gotta defend the stuff though - if you actually follow the directions and leave it in way less time than you think you need, it gives a nice subtle tint instead of turning you into a creamsicle. User error is usually the issue with these things, not the product itself.

My friend Jess bought that same stuff thinking she'd get this nice rose gold look. She ended up looking like a pumpkin for two weeks straight, had to use dish soap to get it out. The worst part was her work Christmas party was that weekend and everyone kept asking if she was going as a jack-o-lantern.
