Dropped $210 on a load moment indicator for my old Grove and it paid for itself in one shift
I run a 1970s Grove RT58 on a small bridge job in Columbus and was flying blind on capacity for months. The LMI with the display and buzzer cost about $210 used, and on a pick last Wednesday it screamed at me at 84 percent, so I backed off and re-rigged instead of tipping over a $40k load. Any of you run older iron, and do you trust these add-on systems or just stick to your paper charts?
