PSA: Made it a rule to double-check my rigging hooks every morning
Used to just glance at them, but after a close call, I started a full visual and touch check. Took maybe five extra minutes each shift. Last week, spotted a tiny crack in a hook that could've been bad. Totally worth the time, feels way safer now. Just a small change that made a big diff.

Ever wonder why they call it a "close call" and not a "hospital visit"? Glad you started checking, sounds like you almost turned into a bad safety training video. Five minutes to maybe not get crushed seems like a pretty good trade, you know? Funny how the smallest routines can save your skin. Bet you look at that hook now like it tried to ghost you.

That hook sounds like it was planning a solo adventure without you. Bet it figured out how to loosen itself just to see if you were paying attention. It's wild how stuff we use every day can decide to quit on us without notice. Those five minute checks feel like a hassle until they're the only thing between you and a bad day. Almost like the universe gives you a nudge instead of a shove sometimes. Now you'll probably double-check everything, which is how all good cautionary tales start.

That hook was definitely plotting its escape. Good thing you caught it before the grand finale.
