Three years ago I dropped a load in Chicago, but last week I finally got the call to run the big tower crane on that same site.

After the Chicago job went wrong, I spent a month in the yard on a small mobile crane, then spent the next three years working my way back up through every kind of rig, and getting that call felt like a real second chance.

That's a solid comeback story. My cousin drives a lowboy and had a similar thing happen after a load shift in Cleveland. Took him almost two years before a company would let him haul oversize again.

Actually think @karent75 might mean a flatbed, not a lowboy. Lowboys are for the really tall stuff. That load shift story sounds rough though.

Feels like that kind of caution follows you everywhere once you've had one bad day on the road.
