TIL the hard way that cheaper rigging gear isn't worth it
Bought a $150 sling set off Amazon last month. First heavy pick snapped it and nearly dropped a 2 ton load on the foreman.

Man, that's terrifying. A 2 ton load almost hitting someone? That could have ended way worse than just a broken sling. Can't believe they even sell gear that cheap for that kind of weight. Glad nobody got hurt.
