I need to warn people in here. Back in January I paid a writing coach $800 for a three month program. I thought she would help me clean up my drafts and get them ready to send out. Instead every single session was just her telling me to keep writing and not worry about the mess. She never once looked at my pages. Not one note. Not one edit. I kept waiting for the advice to kick in and it never did. That money would have paid for almost two years of my gym membership. Has anyone else dropped real cash on writing help and gotten nothing back? I want to know what a legit editor or coach should actually give you before I try this again.
