Tried a writing prompt generator app and lost 3 hours of my life
I downloaded this app that claimed to generate endless creative prompts and all it did was give me stuff like 'a dragon meets a librarian' over and over. $12 down the drain and I could have just looked at a random book on my shelf for better ideas. Anyone else fall for one of these and find a better free source?

Call that app a waste but sometimes limitations force you to get creative and that librarian dragon combo could actually turn into something weird and fun if you push it. Free prompt generators online are just as hit or miss and you end up scrolling past the same basic ideas anyway. Maybe the app did its job by getting you annoyed enough to write something just to prove it wrong.
