Seriously, what was the actual service? That price is wild. Makes you wonder what the breakdown was. Feels like they just make up numbers sometimes. Gotta be some serious markup on that.

Oh man, that is insane! My friend Sarah took her car in for what she thought was just a simple oil change and they hit her with a two hundred dollar bill too. She said they claimed they had to "inspect" the belts and hoses or something... you know how they do. She didn't even ask for that extra stuff, they just went ahead and did it. She was so mad she almost just left the car there. So yeah, it's totally a thing some shops pull, especially if you don't ask for a price first.
