Doc said my new split keyboard might save my wrists.
I was having wrist pain from long typing hours. My doctor told me to try a better setup, so I made a split keyboard. Did switching to a different layout help anyone else with pain?

Save your wrists" seems like pretty strong language from a doctor. Most wrist pain from typing just means you need to take more breaks and stretch, not buy special gear. I've typed for years on a regular keyboard with zero issues. Sometimes people make these setups WAY more complicated than they need to be. A split keyboard feels like a solution looking for a problem that isn't even that big for most folks. It's just a keyboard, not a medical device.

My physical therapist would disagree (loudly).

Why do so many people act like a normal keyboard is out to get them? I've typed for hours every day on cheap keyboards and never had wrist pain (just some tired hands sometimes). A lot of it really does come down to just remembering to move around and not staying in one position too long.
