Hot take: spending $200 on a custom coiled cable was a waste

Has anyone else had a premium cable fall apart that fast or am I just unlucky?

I mean $200 for a cable is kinda crazy to begin with, but yeah some of those custom makers are straight up charging premium prices for average build quality.
