I finally snapped a $70 MX switch puller because I kept forcing it on tight Cherry housings

Spent 3 hours trying to desolder a stuck switch on my KBD75 and the plastic jaws just gave out with a crack, has anyone else had better luck with the metal wire style ones?

Same thing happened to me, cheap junk. The wire ones work way better though.

Those plastic ones are garbage, yeah. @nina180 is right, the wire pullers are tougher, but honestly if you're forcing it that hard maybe the housing is the problem not the tool.
