Latency is a lie: why I'm side-eyeing 8000Hz polling after testing it with a $12 switch
I went back and forth for a month on whether 8000Hz polling rate is worth the extra $40 and the battery drain, and after testing it on my KBD67 Lite with some cheap Gateron Reds, I honestly couldn't feel a difference in games. The thing is, I dropped from 8k to 1k and my typing accuracy actually went up because my PC wasn't fighting the USB traffic. Am I crazy, or is this just a spec sheet flex for people who don't actually build?
