Realized after 2 years I had my stabs assembled upside down
I was swapping out some old Cherry switches this morning and noticed the wire on my spacebar stabilizer was pressing against the switch housing instead of sitting in that little channel. Pulled it apart and sure enough I had been installing them flipped for every single build since I started. Has anyone else had that moment where a random detail just clicks and makes you rethink everything?

Man that "just clicks" moment hit me hard. I've been building boards for about 4 years now and last month I realized I had been putting the spacebar springs in backward on my GMK stabs. Made the same mistake about 20 times across different builds. I just sat there staring at my keyboard thinking about all the scratchy spacebars I blamed on bad switches. The worst part is I even watched build guides when I started and just somehow missed that one tiny detail every time. You're not alone in this man, these little things will haunt you but at least now you know and can fix everything going forward.
