Swapped from plate-mount to PCB-mount stabs and saved my spacebar rattle

Last week I finally got fed up with my spacebar sounding like a maraca on my GMMK Pro build. I swapped out the stock plate-mount stabilizers for some Durock PCB-mount v2s, and the difference is night and day. The key was actually clipping the little feet on the wire and lubing the housing with 205g0, not just the stem. Took me about 30 minutes to desolder and redo everything, but now the thock is so consistent. Has anyone else had luck with a specific brand of PCB-mount stabs for a big spacebar like that?

Oh man, the maraca spacebar is the absolute worst. I've been there with my old Keychron and it drove me nuts for months. Clipping the feet on the wire is honestly the step everyone skips but it makes such a huge difference in stopping that metallic ping. I went with C3 Equalz on my last build and they're super solid, no rattle at all even on that big 6.25u spacebar. Just make sure you really get the lube in the right spots, not just slathering it everywhere like I did the first time.

... yeah I was actually one of those people who swore by plate-mount stabs for the longest time, thought PCB-mount was just hype. But then my buddy @skylerg17 let me try his board with C3 Equalz and I instantly ate my words. The difference in consistency is wild, especially on that bigger spacebar where plate-mount always felt a little loose to me. I still think lube is half the battle though, spent a good hour on mine with 205g0 and it's dead quiet now. Glad to see more people making the switch honestly.
