That guy who told me to lube stabs before mounting was spot on

Tbh I always skipped the stab lubing step because it felt like a waste of time. Built my first board with some screw-in stabs and the spacebar sounded like a rattly mess. A friend at the Philadelphia meetup last month said to take 10 minutes with dielectric grease and a brush before anything else. Did it on the rebuild this weekend, night and day difference. Anyone else have a basic step they ignored forever and then finally got talked into doing it right?
