TIL a misaligned stabilizer can ruin an entire $150 build in under 5 seconds

I was at my desk last night test-typing on a new GMMK Pro build and the spacebar just locked up solid on the right side. I had to desolder everything to get the stabs out and re-lube them. Has anyone else had a build go bad from something that small.

One bad screw can sink the whole boat every time in this hobby.

actually it's more like a whole chain of little things going wrong at the same time that really kills a build. one bad screw can be an easy fix but three or four tiny mistakes stacked on top of each other is what usually makes me want to toss the whole thing in the bin.
