Update: Reconfiguring my bench space has me torn between hidden versus visible tool storage for keyboard mods.
One camp says out of sight keeps the workspace clean, but others argue having tools in view reduces friction during crafting... where do you stand?

Visible tools don't have to mean a mess though. You can have them out AND organized so you still find stuff fast.

So, you're telling me you actually put your tools away? Look, I tried the whole minimalist bench thing once, and it lasted about as long as my New Year's resolution to organize my sock drawer. I spent more time digging through drawers than actually modding keyboards, which defeats the whole purpose of having a workspace. Now I keep everything out where I can see it, even if it looks like a tornado hit a hardware store. Sure, it's not Instagram-worthy, but when I'm in the zone, I don't want to break flow to hunt for a screwdriver. Honestly, visible tools might seem chaotic, but they turn crafting from a scavenger hunt into a smooth process.

Tbh, that 'tornado hit a hardware store' line really hits home. But how do you actually find what you need fast when everything's out? Like, do you have spots for certain tools, or is it just pure chaos? Honestly, I've tried both ways and I end up wasting time either way. Ngl, I'm curious if there's a middle ground where things are visible but not a total mess. What's your trick for keeping the flow without losing your mind?
