Vent: My stabilizer wire just would not sit flat no matter what I did
I was putting together a 65% board last night and the spacebar wire kept ticking. I tried bending it a tiny bit, then a lot, then I took it out and put it back in like five times. After two hours of messing with it, I realized the housing on the left side was just a hair too tight and was pinching the stem. Has anyone else fixed a stab by just sanding down the inside of the plastic housing a little?

Ugh, that's the worst! Did sanding the housing actually fix the ticking for good?

Sanding worked for about a week on my old G502, then the ticking came back louder. I ended up just replacing the switch.

Yeah, "for good" is pretty rare with sanding. It's more like a band-aid that buys you a few months at best before the plastic wears down again. Honestly, just swapping the switch is less hassle in the long run lol.
