Wasted $120 on a set of knockoff GMK keycaps that arrived warped

The spacebar had a visible banana bend and two of the mods wouldn't even sit flush on the switch. Has anyone else had better luck with those cheaper PBT sets or should I just save up for the real thing?

Funny thing about those knockoff sets... the plastic they use is usually lower grade ABS with a different shrinkage rate than what GMK specs out. Had a buddy try to fix a warped spacebar from a clone set by hitting it with a heat gun and laying it flat under a stack of textbooks overnight. Worked okay but the surface got this weird wavy texture where the heat hit it uneven. Kinda defeats the whole point of spending money in the first place when you have to babysit a spacebar like it's a recovering patient.

@richard_shah did he try boiling the spacebar instead to avoid the heat gun issues lol
