Why does nobody talk about switch wobble on Alps builds

I was reading through Deskthority archives last night and found a post from some guy in 2017 measuring switch wobble on vintage Alps SKCM oranges. He showed that the wobble on a standard plate-mounted Alps switch is nearly double what you get from a modern Cherry MX housing. I just finished my first Alps build with a KBParadise V60 and the keycaps rattle like a truck on a dirt road. Has anyone found a reliable fix for this or am I stuck with it?

Wobble on a truck on a dirt road" - I built the same board and honestly it just adds character.

Asked my buddy Mike about this after he finished his own Alps build last year. He spent like three weeks trying to fix the wobble on his AEK64 board with different plate materials and even tried stacking o-rings under the switches. Finally he just gave up and started calling it the 'wobbly boy' and uses it as his daily driver anyway. He said the wobble actually settled down a bit after he put some thick PBT keycaps on it, but it never fully went away. Honestly he just learned to live with it and now he swears it makes the typing feel more unique.
