Compared my old password manager to a new one and the difference was huge

I used LastPass for years until I switched to Bitwarden last month and found out I had 40 duplicate logins sitting there with weak passwords. Has anyone else found a ton of junk passwords when they switched?

Oh man, I went through the exact same mess when I switched from LastPass to Bitwarden last year. It's honestly shocking how many duplicates pile up over time, especially if you ever changed a password and the old one just sat there. I spent a whole weekend going through all my logins, deleting the junk, and updating weak ones that I'd been ignoring for years. The best thing I did was run the password strength report Bitwarden has - it showed me exactly which accounts were using the same reused passwords. After that, I set up a few strong passwords for the important stuff and just let the rest autofill. It feels way cleaner now, like I actually have control over my logins instead of just hoping they work.

All that effort just to store passwords when a notebook works fine.
