Coworker at my last job ignored MFA for 6 months until we got hit

I worked with this guy Dave at a small marketing firm in Austin, maybe 30 of us. He kept saying two-factor authentication was too annoying and just used the same password for everything. Then last March someone logged into his email from a cafe in Eastern Europe and sent phishing links to our whole client list. Took IT three days to clean it up and we lost two big accounts over it. How many people at your company are still skipping basic security stuff?

That's true, most folks figure it won't happen to them until it does.

Seems like most people treat security like it's someone else's problem.
