Dropped $150 on a password manager that locked me out after 2 months
I signed up for SecureVault Pro back in July because it had great reviews on some tech site. figured it was worth the money to keep my logins safe. fast forward to last week, their system flagged my account for 'suspicious activity' and froze everything. I couldn't access my passwords for 3 days while their support ignored my tickets. finally got in, but I lost trust. now I'm back to using a plain text file on a USB drive, which feels dumb but at least I control it. anyone else get burned by one of these fancy services?
