Got caught using "Password123" for my bank account for 7 years
I was at a coffee shop in Denver last spring and my laptop got stolen. While waiting for the police report, I logged into my bank on my phone to freeze things. Then I saw my password was literally "Password123" and I had been using it since college. I felt like an idiot. The thief never got into anything because I had 2FA on, but it made me realize I was just lazy about security. How often do you guys actually update your old passwords?
