Hot take: I thought my friend was nuts for using a password manager until my bank account got hit

He kept telling me to get one for years, but I figured my usual 'password123' variations were fine. Last month, someone got into my email and then my bank, taking about $300 before I caught it. What's the best free one to start with that isn't a pain to use?

Bitwarden not feeling like a chore is a big plus.

Ugh, that's the worst, sorry that happened. I mean, my cousin had this whole thing where she used her dog's name for everything, and someone guessed it from her public social media. It's crazy how they connect the dots. I started using Bitwarden after something similar, it's free and doesn't feel like a chore to set up.
