My cat somehow triggered my two-factor login and I had to get creative
I was working from home in Seattle last Tuesday when my cat jumped on my keyboard and entered my password wrong five times. My work account locked me out and needed a code from my phone, which was dead. I remembered reading about backup codes, so I dug through my desk drawer and found the printout from six months ago. It actually worked and saved me from calling IT. Has anyone else had a pet cause a security lockout and how did you fix it?

Lol my dog did something similar once. Honestly I just think it's a sign we should all turn off those auto-lock features at home, they're more trouble than they're worth.

Oh totally, my friend had to reset her entire company password because her cat walked across the keyboard while she was away from her desk... @keithwalker is right though, good luck training a cat to stay off the keys.

A tech blog actually suggested training pets to avoid keyboards, but that seems impossible.
