My password manager almost got me fired last Tuesday
I was logging into a client's system during a call and my password manager auto-filled an old password for a different account. The client saw the credential pop up and asked why I had access to their admin panel from 2019. Turns out I never cleaned out my vault after leaving a previous job that used the same vendor. Spent the next 3 hours explaining to IT security how it happened. Has anyone else had a close call with auto-fill revealing too much?
