My password manager failed me in a Target parking lot

I trust my password manager with everything, but last Tuesday in the Target lot on El Camino Real my phone died and I couldn't get into my shopping app. Turns out I had been reusing the same 8 character password for 14 different accounts, including my bank and my pet store rewards card. The cashier saw my face and said 'you look like you just lost your wallet,' which is when I realized I needed a hardware key backup. Anyone else have a horror story about being locked out when your brain forgot the one thing you swore you'd remember?

Panicked so hard in a grocery store line once that I tried to unlock my phone with my face while crying. It didn't work, obviously, and the cashier asked if I needed a minute. I just stood there sweating like I'd forgotten my own name, not just my password.
