Password manager switch backfired after 4 months

I jumped from Bitwarden to Dashlane back in February because everyone was raving about its sharing features. Fast forward to last week, and I discovered Dashlane had been silently storing some of my older passwords in plain text inside a backup file. The before was clean, organized, and encrypted properly with Bitwarden. The after is a mess where I now have to rotate 14 accounts because of some hidden caching issue. Support claimed it was a syncing bug that only affected my account setup, but I'm not buying it. Has anyone else seen a password manager degrade your security instead of improving it over a few months?

Guess I'll stick with sticky notes and hope.

Sticky notes and hope is basically my entire system at this point. I've got them all over my monitor, my desk, and even the kitchen cabinet. Last week I wrote "buy milk" on a neon green one and it got stuck to my sleeve, so I ended up wearing it to the grocery store and a guy asked if it was some kind of fashion statement. The hope part is that maybe one day I'll remember to check them all before the ink fades.
