That $35 password manager subscription I ignored for years finally bit me

I always thought password managers were just for paranoid people and IT guys... kept using the same 4 passwords for everything. Last month I got an alert that someone tried logging into my email from a different state. Turns out one of my old passwords was in a breach from 2022 that I never knew about. I paid $35 for a year of Bitwarden and spent a Sunday resetting 60 accounts. Has anyone had a close call like that before they finally got serious about passwords?

Honestly the biggest thing nobody talks about is how much easier it makes logging into stuff too. Like I used to get so annoyed typing in my long passwords on my phone but now my fingerprint just does it for me.
